There have been several correlation studies connecting summer time and crimes etc. Not necessarily anything weird, but the connection was with temperature and also that kids are out of school and there are typically more people around and out and about during the summer months. Any number of factors could cause people to act weird. Alcohol, rage , hallucinations caused by dehydration and etc.

Just a thought. I can't say for sure, but it makes sense.

As well as the accumulation of all of the negative energy. Everyone is pissed off anymore. I think it's affecting the weather and the spirits. Negative feeds off negative. It's getting out of control.
