I'm not jaded, I'm realistic. They can't harm you therefore why be scared of them. Pretty simple really.

is there a difference to you guys by being scared and being off guard in the show? when they seem "scared" they could just be off guard. what do you think about that?

They're scared. Being off guard when trying to contact the dead is even worse. They'd be better off admitting they were scared.

The fact that people have walked away from haunted places with scratches shows that people can get hurt by ghosts/spirits it depends on the kinda person they were when they were alive and what kinda provoking the crew was doing

If you're being hurt and scratched and such after visiting anywhere haunted, you more than likely aren't dealing with a ghost or spirit. The angrier the spirit or ghost, the more they'll tend to try and scare you, but as far as I know, they can't exactly hurt you. Those of demonic agents and poltergeists can, however. So if you're being physically harmed, I'm fairly sure it is something more than just a ghost or spirit. Correct me if I'm wrong, guys.

house cats scratch people every day. being scared of a ghost is silly. raise your hand if you've been scratched or harmed by a ghost. the only way they can hurt you is if you panic and start running and then trip and fall. which in that case you hurt yourself technically.

a poltergeist isn't a ghost, spirit, demon or anything else other than a manifestation caused by a person with severe emotional issues. so again, it's a person hurting you.

demons are so rare you'd be lucky to find 100 people in the US today that have had any harmful dealings with them. i had a non-human entity in my room last night. i walked over to where it was and said get the fuck out of my house before you really piss me off. problem solved. they feed off fear and despise anger directed towards them.
