Before proceeding, the following information might be helpful

What is the DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) outlines the statutory requirements necessary for formally reporting copyright infringement, as well as providing instructions on how an affected party can appeal a removal by submitting a compliant counter-notice. Read more here: Section 512
How Do I File a Complaint?
Filing a notice of copyright infringement is easy: Just make sure you have all the necessary information on-hand, then complete the form below
What's the Process?
Once we receive your complaint, we'll first determine if the material falls under the legal guidelines for Fair Use. If it doesn't, we'll then review the URL's and/or evidence you've submitted, and if found valid, we'll remove the infringing material (or credit the work to you, whichever you prefer).
What Happens Next?
If the complaint is determined to be valid, we'll either remove the content or properly credit it to you (if you have chosen this option during the complaint process). If the material was posted by a user, we'll make a good faith effort to contact that user and inform them of the action taken. If you didn't provide sufficient information to process your claim or support your ownership, we'll file a counter-notice asking for additional information. We'll notify you of the outcome.
What Happens if the Complaint is Deemed Invalid?
Well, there are two ways this can happen: If you're not the legal copyright holder or if appropriate permission was obtained and documented. However, if we've deemed the content to have been used according to the Fair Use Act, we won't remove it (But we'll still credit it to you). If you've not provided enough information to support your claim, we'll ask for more proof. If you're still not able to satisfy the requirements, the material will remain.
Does This Apply to Original Content by a Site Member?
No. According to our Terms of Service, when you post content on our website, you automatically grant us a license to use that content. Please see subsection 12 of our Terms of Use
